The Central Park Zoo in Manhattan isn't my normal haunt. I'm a Brooklyn kid and the affluent and formal milieu of Fifth Avenue makes me feel kind of spiritually constipated. But I heard rumors that two of my favorite kind of beings were now residing there. Specifically, they are Penguins and the very human like monkey called the Macaque or Japanese Snow Monkey. During this time of year, the Penguins live in an enclosed twilight environment very similar to the South Pole. Clicking on thumbnail photo will bring up a larger photo for your viewing.
