Well... actually it's MOSTLY mammals. I've loved the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan since I was a kid. My father took me there almost every weekend where I would help him take photos with a heavy tripod and an old Speed Graphic. My dad's wonderful photos were in black and white. We did the developing and lab work in a cramped closet in our Brooklyn apartment. This set of photos (and other museum segments to follow) are dedicated to my dad, Louis Leventhal. He was a loving and attentive father of talent and honor. I miss him terribly to this day. And if there was one place in the world I could spend my life, it would be in this museum. So please pardon a few large birds in this group of mammals. I just got carried away. Clicking on thumbnail photo will bring up a larger photo for your viewing.
