Okay, I'll admit it... I'm hooked on my lovely wife Caryl, our wonderful dog Lula, our cats, turtles and flowers. And the roses of late spring are a must to behold amidst their intoxicating fragrance. They're particularly beautiful after a Spring shower, which is when these photos were taken. The moist drops cling to the rose petals like a loving kiss on my wife's cheek. They create a patina of blush that places a smile on nature's blossoming children. These photos were taken during the first week of June in Brooklyn's Botanic Gardens, where the variety of roses is amazing. Click each thumbnail for a larger photo.
